After years of dreaming about combining our knowledge, creativity, and passion for crafting beautiful photographs, We Are Found was conceived on our journey home from the Scottish Highlands. Our adventure rekindled that sense that no matter where you are, sometimes ‘home’ is more of a feeling - found in that person, your craft, or a sense of being in the right place at the right time - feeling found. That notion is at the root of We Are Found and at the heart of all our storytelling.
We work with couples, makers & creators to craft natural, moody and dreamy images that capture that sense of belonging and tell their story. We are a husband and wife duo who feel most at home in nature, usually hiding behind a camera. We’re both originally from the Welsh countryside in the Brecon Beacons, but now call Bath and the South West of England our home.
We love working with local people and businesses as well as venturing further afield, having photographed projects collaboratively and separately across the globe, from a couple shoot in Scotland to a boat tour in Canada. We love sharing our adventures and stories together and we'd love to share yours... |
Lloyd EvansLloyd comes from a theatrical background, with skills for all things technical and previously worked as a lighting designing for the stage. Film and theatre were his first loves before he was taken over by the power of the still image, influencing his love for telling stories.
Half spontaneous adventurer, half meticulous planner; Lloyd will have a location mapped out to explore the most beautiful views and always know what time sunset is. Photography has really opened Lloyd's eyes to the beauty to be found in the world, and if he’s not making Sophie laugh with his ridiculous puns he’ll be capturing beautiful landscapes. Or you can find him doing both at @lloydevansphoto Vertical Divider

Sophie Erin EvansSophie loves to create, through photography, styling, visual arts, illustration, storytelling and writing. She has always been this way and has a crazy attention to detail. She loves the things that make people imperfectly and beautifully them. With a background in art and communications, she’ll happily talk about the ‘feel’ and colour palette of your plans.
She’s most at home in nature, although probably with a mug of oat-milk-tea in hand. She’ll bring the sunshine even if it’s raining, get excited with you about your ideas and if you’re booking us for a wedding - she’ll be the one laughing at the worst jokes in the speeches. |
